Legal
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information WeConnect LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company ("WeConnect", "we", "us"), collects through weconnect.work and our project request forms, how we use it, and the choices you have. Our services are offered to businesses, and this policy applies to the people who contact us on behalf of those businesses.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: first and last name, company name and work email.
- Project information: the service you are interested in, the description of your project, and links to plans, scans, photos, cut sheets or other files you choose to share.
- Communications: the emails and messages you exchange with us, and notes from calls about your project.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, time on page, referring website, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser and device type.
- Advertising data: if you arrive from one of our ads, the campaign and ad that brought you to the site.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, financial account numbers or health information.
2. How we use your information
- To reply to your request, scope your project and send you a price and delivery date.
- To deliver the services you hire us for and manage our business relationship with you.
- To keep a record of our conversations in our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- To measure which pages and ads bring us inquiries, and to improve the website.
- To send you occasional emails about our services, only if you opt in. Every marketing email includes a link to unsubscribe.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
3. Project files and confidentiality
Files and drawings you share with us are used only to scope and deliver your project. Access is limited to the team assigned to your account. We do not share your files with other clients, reuse your templates or families on other clients' projects, or show your projects in our marketing without your written permission. If you ask us to, we delete or return your project files once the project is closed, unless we must keep a copy to meet a legal obligation. Where you and WeConnect sign a separate confidentiality or services agreement, that agreement also applies.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that run parts of our business on our behalf, such as HubSpot (CRM and forms), Google (Workspace email, Analytics, Fonts, Ads and Firebase Hosting) and LinkedIn (advertising). They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, under a duty of confidentiality.
- Authorities when required by law or to protect our rights, safety or property.
- A buyer or successor if WeConnect is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, under this same policy.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies from Google Analytics and HubSpot to understand how the site is used and how visitors reach our forms. When we run advertising campaigns, we may also use Google Ads and LinkedIn tags to measure them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, and manage LinkedIn advertising preferences in your LinkedIn account settings. The site still works if you block these cookies.
Do Not Track: some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common standard for these signals, the website does not currently respond to them. You can still use the browser and cookie controls described above.
6. Where your information is processed
WeConnect is a United States company. Our drafting and operations team works from Colombia, and our service providers may store information in the United States or other countries. When information is transferred, we use service providers with recognized security standards and limit access to the people who need it to serve you.
7. How long we keep it
- Inquiries that do not become projects: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted.
- Client records: for as long as we work together and afterwards as needed for accounting, tax and legal purposes.
- Project files: as agreed for each project, or until you ask us to delete them, subject to legal obligations.
8. Security
We protect information with access controls, encrypted connections and accounts protected by multi-factor authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you marketing emails, by writing to info@weconnect.work. Depending on the state or country where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. We will respond within the time the applicable law requires, and we will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
10. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. If the changes are significant, we will place a notice on the website.
